Board Meetings

The Board of Supervisors of the Ballantrae Community Development District will hold its regular monthly meetings for Fiscal Year 2017-18 at the clubhouse. It is located at 17611 Mentmore Boulevard, Land O’ Lakes, Florida. Regular meetings approved by the Board will begin at 6:30 p.m. on the following dates. They are usually the first Monday of the month with some exceptions. Please note the dates here and on the Clubhouse Calendar:

The agenda for each meeting will be posted here the week before it is scheduled to be held. Agendas are also posted on the bulletin board outside the meeting room at the clubhouse. Click here for our archive of meeting agendas for the past year.

Minutes of all previous meetings are posted here. They are usually approved at the meeting after which they are taken and then posted on this site.

The list of meeting dates is also posted on the bulletin board at the clubhouse outside the entrance to the meeting room. Approaching dates are also posted as reminders on the bulletin boards at the entrance to each village. Any other meetings (special, budget or workshop, for example), will be advertised in accordance with the law. They will be posted online at NewsNotes and on the Community Calendar, as well as on the bulletin boards at the clubhouse and at each village entrance.

State law allows any meeting to be continued to a date, time, and place approved by the Board on the record at the meeting, without additional publication of notice. However, it is the policy of the CDD Board to post such information online at NewsNotes and the Community Calendar, as well as on the bulletin boards at the clubhouse and at each village entrance.

The Audience Comment period comes after the Board has addressed the issues on its agenda and Supervisors have had the opportunity to comment on any issue of District concern. The Audience Comment period allows individuals to comment on matters that concern the District. Each audience member is limited to three minutes for such comment. The Board of Supervisors and staff are not obligated to provide a response until given the time they deem necessary for research or action.

Pursuant to provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person requiring special accommodations to participate in these meetings should so advise the District Manager at least 48 hours before the meeting.
